Testimonial 1 - Networks:
John's group came into our small private school and saved our crashed server. We thought we
had a serious problem, but they were able to bring it back online in minutes. We hired them on the spot
and now they run our data network all remotely. Since they don't have to be onsite for every little
network change, we have saved thousands in our computer budget! They also showed us how to stop students from installing
programs - now they can't install virus and spyware by mistake!
We also added wireless and now are able
to get secure Internet access into our satellite buildings. Thanks again! Not one problem in 3 months!

Testimonial 2 - Networks:
We used John's company to setup our company's network. We needed to share Internet access,
Setup a firewall so hackers couldn't see our files, and we wanted to
access our files from home. John and his guys were
able to setup our whole network including a website and wireless for about half the money the other company quoted!
Thanks again John!

Story 4 - Does your computer guy always pass the buck?
We were called in to troubleshoot an email and VPN problem with a local
Reno Company.
The owner had been hearing from the in-house computer tech that the problems were someobody else's fault,
but after we looked at the server and configuration setup. We knew the problem.
Come to find out the so called in-house computer expert didn't have any
certifications and training! And to top it
off, he had been telling the owner the problems
were because of the Internet Service Provider and
the Branch office hardware setup for 3 months. The owner finally
thought it might be a good idea to get a second opinion and called us. We
came onsite and we remoted into the branch and fixed the
problem that day, and gave the in-house guy a lesson in system admin to boot!
Story 5 - Intermittent problems connecting to shared files and Internet?
We were called onsite to to find a problem that had been coming back again and again for several months.
Ever since one of our local competitors had installed the server system, they have had intermittent errors and connection problems. We found that both the server and DSL firewall/router had been misconfigured. (This is a common problem we see all the time.) We rebuilt the configuration and gained another customer.
Story 6 - Shared calendars and remote access to Outlook data
Exchange and Outlook 2003 allows a secretary to update all the partner calendars and then share those calendars to
those who require it. All the partners knew exactly what everyone's schedule was in real time. This made scheduling
meetings easier and all the Outlook data was available to the partners at any time either at home, in the office,
via their PDA cell phone, or anywhere there was an Internet connection and a computer with a web browser. They just login
with a secure password/username. Exchange also allows for custom security permissions so a person could see just the calendar
and not the inbox or an executive secretary could send an email on behalf of the partner and many more possibilities. In all,
a very robust and high end server platform. This is the same platform that the local Hospital uses, so why not you. Read more here.
Story 7 - Fax machine not sending to email recipient
We were called in to troubleshoot a stand alone copier/fax which was unable to send a pdf via email.
The company had tried several different local so called "computer experts" but none of them could get
the copier to send email. They all came up with the same story. The equipment doesn't support this feature.
And while it's true that the equipment could not send through an outside email account, it could send thru the company's
local server when it is configured properly. We remoted into the server and got the fax sending outside email properly
without ever stepping foot on the property. The owner was so impressed, he fired his guy and hired us on the spot.
The owner also called the business that leased them the copier and told them this story, after which we now are the
recommended network company and since have done many jobs and gained many clients setting up that same system.
Story 8 - Slow Computers and Virus/spyware infection
This client had computers constantly getting hit by virus and poor performance. Come to find out the employees
were installing music downloading programs and stealing music and programs. We came in and deployed a solution that cut
off the employees ability to download music no matter what program they had installed. And we deployed a centrally managed
antivirus that cut off the computer from the network the second it detected a virus or spyware infection thus preventing further infection
to others.
